Product Introduction
A horizontal machining center is a type of machining center in which the spindle and the worktable are parallel to each other, with the worktable typically being a square indexing rotary table or a CNC rotary table. It is well suited for machining box-type workpieces by performing multi-axis simultaneous motion to machine all sides, making it fully capable of handling complex part geometries.
Compared with vertical machining centers, horizontal machining centers offer easier chip evacuation during workpiece machining and are better suited for machining complex concave features and mold cavities. Owing to their structural advantages, horizontal machining centers can handle large workpieces that would be difficult or even impossible to machine on vertical centers.
